Kempegowda International Airport

Kempegowda International Airport (IATA: BLR) is the primary airport serving Bengaluru (Bangalore), the capital of Karnataka, India. Located in Devanahalli, about 40 kilometers north of the city center, it is one of the busiest airports in the country in terms of passenger traffic and cargo.

Terminal 2 (T2) is designed to reflect Bengaluru’s identity as the "Garden City," featuring extensive indoor gardens, green walls, and bamboo architecture to create a natural and calming environment for travelers.
The airport uses native and adaptive plant species across its landscapes to minimize water usage and support local biodiversity, making it both eco-friendly and visually appealing.
Terminal 2 (T2), also known as the “Terminal in a Garden” for its eco-friendly design and lush interiors. The airport also has two parallel runways and a cargo village, supporting both domestic and international operations.
