Rocks & Roots collaborated with Tata Communications to enhance the environmental quality and employee experience at one of their major operational campuses. With Tata Communications being a global leader in digital infrastructure, the landscape design had to reflect modernity, innovation, and sustainability—all while adhering to strict functional and security standards.Our work focused on transforming utilitarian corporate spaces into green, interactive zones that promote well-being and embody the Tata Group’s values of sustainability, aesthetics, and employee-first thinking.
Scope of Work
- Campus landscape master planning for entry zones, courtyards, and open spaces
- Plantation strategies aligned with corporate branding and environmental goals
- Creation of relaxation zones for staff with shaded seating, walkways, and water features
- Integration of native and air-purifying plant species for microclimate improvement
- Coordination with facilities and security teams for zero-interference design
- Advisory on green infrastructure: rainwater harvesting, drip irrigation, and soil management
Impact
The result was a green transformation of a high-tech corporate campus—offering Tata Communications' workforce spaces that foster health, focus, and connection with nature. Our design contributed to a more breathable, efficient, and inspiring workplace aligned with global ESG goals.
