Rocks & Roots was commissioned to transform Sundar Farm, a private farmhouse nestled in the green belt of Vasant Kunj, into a luxurious nature retreat that harmonizes with the ecological context of Delhi’s Aravalli landscape.Our approach focused on preserving the farm’s natural character while enhancing its functionality and aesthetic through curated green zones, native planting, and sensory-rich outdoor spaces. Every element—from entry pathways to private garden courts—was designed to reflect simplicity, sustainability, and seasonal beauty.
Scope of Work
- Landscape master plan for the entire estate
- Native tree plantation for microclimate enhancement and privacy screening
- Thematic garden zones including herb gardens, orchard corners, and shaded sit-outs
- Soil restoration and drainage correction to support healthy vegetation
- Design of natural stone pathways, mood lighting, and water elements
- Advisory on long-term ecological stewardship and maintenance
